Rev. Cory Coberforward
Rev. Cory is a Swedenborgian minister who joined us in early 2019. Through his ministry, he hopes to uplift others wherever they are, as he (and most other Swedenborgians) believe that all faith journeys can be paths to the heavenly city within. Ultimately, he believes that love, peace, rationality, kindness, and wisdom are all key aspects of Divinity with each of us that we can lean into to further uplift the Heaven within and without. Music Director Caleb deGroot-Maggetti
Caleb is a Kitchener-based pianist with a Bachelor of Music from Wilfrid Laurier University (2021). As well as playing hymns on Sunday mornings, he plays jazz piano with the Iron Tonic Jazz Band, and plays traditional fiddle tunes on the concertina. He also teaches piano and concertina.
He has sung with many church and community choirs in KW over the past decade and he feels that choir song is among the best ways to bring people together in joy and community.
